WHY AM I DONG IT THIS WAY?

A lot of channels do Patreon or Youtube Memberships at a cost to the viewer which puts a lot of content behind a paywall, meaning it is pay to view, and a large amount of the subscriber base miss out on a lot of content, or the quality of the content available to non members reduces. I don’t like this approach.

My way - EVERY one will get to see ALL content. If you aren’t in a position to donate - you still get to see ALL content and your current experience of the channel will NOT change at all. If you do want to support the channel then you get to decide how I prioritise the videos.

I'm a clinical psychologist from the USA. I was fortunate enough to come across Dimash singing "SOS" on YouTube in February of 2017. I was instantly brought to tears. I'm an older guy who has loved music all of my life and along the way I have gathered number of vocalists who I love and admire to this day. However, I have never has experienced a more primal reaction to a singer like I have Dimash! I believe there are very good singers who can tap into our feelings and excellent singers who can touch our hearts. However, there are transcended singers who are able to touch our souls. I believe Dimash is one of a group of an extremely select few who have this innate ability. It's kind of like Dimash puts out an FM signal. Those who have an FM receiver will get the signal and experience an instantaneous response. For some this signal, frequency and/or vibration carries with it/them incredible healing qualities. Finally, as you are probably already aware, any stimulus that can quickly diminish negativity and immediately replace it with positivity, is quite attractive to us all. ... Aside from all of this mambo jumbo, the bottom line is that Dimash Qudaibergen is a wonderful vocalist, a fantastic performer and a most magnificent human being. Today, I enjoy and respect Dimash even more than I did in 2017!!! Enjoy the ride, Sir! You ain't seen nothin yet!!!

I found Dimash about 6 years ago from a random search through YouTube. I watched him perform SOS d'un terrien en detresse on the Chinese reality show, I Am Singer (aka The Singer) in 2017. I was astonished, delighted, and covered with goosebumps. I had never heard anyone with this much control over his voice. Everything fit together so beautifully that I didn't even realize at first just how extraordinary his skills were. His ability to cover several octaves and switch effortlessly between styles, timbres and dynamics was nothing short of transcendent. I immediately began looking for anything I could find on Dimash and haven't stopped since. I cannot tell you why I was so immediately enthralled. I have listened to all kinds of music from all over the world, yet I have never reacted to an artist the way I have to Dimash. You will hear many people say that Dimash changed their lives or helped with their physical or emotional ailments. I don't try to explain it; I just enjoy it. Dimash has a very serious musical education - beyond his formidable vocal training, he is also a composer and multi-instrumentalist. But best of all, he is a kind, compassionate, and loving human being. He is a philanthropist and is generous with his time and money. He dreams of peace between nations and works tirelessly to bridge people and cultures with the hope that one day there will be no more wars. It's an impossible task, but I applaud him for trying. He is using his fame and influence to better the world. Not many artists will do that, even if they can. Perhaps it is not a coincidence that his name (Qudaibergen) translates to "God given" or "gift from God."

I told my therapist about Dimash. He is my medicine. I've been off all depression meds for 4 years, since I found him. Dimash makes me feel love.❤

Welcome to the amazing world of Dimash. He sings in 16 languages, has a 7+octave range, sings in almost all genres from rap to opera. He is a multi-instrumentalist and composer. He has fan clubs in 150 countries who will travel all over the world to attend his concerts. He is a humble, spiritual, and charitable young man. His catalog is vast and varied. Anything you choose next will be amazing. I recommend Olympico.

There is nothing not to love about Dimash, he's kind, funny, generous, loving and endlessly patient. There's a reason why he's The People's Artist of Kazakhstan, why he's been appointed by the United Nations as the Goodwill Ambassador for Migration, why he was given the Serbian equivalent of the Nobel Prize along with countless other awards for both his humanitarian work and his music. Whenever there's a disaster in his country or a country where he's holding a concert he contributes financially. He's also aware that his offstage behaviour may influence younger fans so you will never find him using bad language in his songs or behaving in any way that wouldn't be considered exemplary. He spreads a global message of peace and unity around the world both in his music and in his interviews. I'd highly recommend watching his latest interview at the New Vision forum, it's on his channel with subtitles. There's far too much to say about him in a comment section, let's just say that wherever he goes, he's received like a prince or president and yet he'll walk through airports with no security and no airs or graces even though he was listed as one of the world's 500 most influential Muslims.

What do I love about Dimash? Everything! He is the epitome of what is good in the world. Even though I've been a musician and listener of music all my life, I have never been a true follower of popular musicians, but this young man is the best I've ever heard. I listen to him everyday. He doesn't fit in categories, nor does he make mistakes. His skills as a musician eclipses everyone. Yet, as I've learned more about his character and values, I loved that as well or more. I've always realized that the best among us is always humble, never boastful. Because he fits into that group, I'm not even sure he realizes how exceptional he is.

What attracted me to Dimash was the almost overwhelming beauty of his music and the way he sings it along with the love he shows to his fans and family. I really appreciate that he is someone who cares about the things in life that are truly important, God, family, peace, brotherhood and that he stands up for what he believes in a way that doesn't come across as looking down on those who believe other things. In the first month of discovering Dimash I saw his concert in the rain online. Crowds had been waiting for hours in the rain at an outdoor music even at which he was performing. Rather than cancel, he did a 30 minute concert in the rain for them and finally had to be almost dragged away to get him to leave! I also saw a series of pictures. Dimash was being greeted by some of his elderly female fans. One lady who must have been in her 70's took his hands and kissed them. Then Dimash smiled and took hers and kissed them back. This was a 25. or so year old man who could have focused on just the beautiful young women his own age, but he took time to show his love for the older folks. I also saw him (online, I haven't yet been able to attend a concert live) at one of his concerts. When he was singing and one of the stage ladies came and wiped the sweat off his face, he would be a bit annoyed in a teasing sort of way. But at one concert, his mother was in the front row, and she came up and wiped his face. He leaned down and kissed her and then went on with his singing. A 27 year old man, in front of thousands of fans who wasn't embarrassed to show his love for his mom. A few years ago, Dimash was in an American talent show. Before entering he checked to be sure that the adults would not be competing against the children and was assured that the two were separate. When it came to the final rounds, he found out that this was not true and that he would be competing against two kids who were about 10-13 or something like that. He was very upset about this because he knew how unfair that was and in his culture they believe that adults should encourage the children not compete against them. He very respectfully withdrew from the competition even though it made the judges and the ones running the show very angry (and they said unkind things to him, right there in public). He just walked away from the 1 million dollar prize and, very likely, instant fame in America and returned to his homeland. This is the person you just watched. 🇨🇦

I am 60 years old today. I listened to Dimash for the first time in 2018. Until that moment, I neither supported a team nor belonged to my school's emblem. I don't like people, I don't believe in or trust anything other than myself. But the pure beauty of Dimash's perspective on music, work, family, life and people turned me into a fan girl at the age of 54. My husband and daughter are terrified and I have never been ashamed of being a Dear. Dimash is a utopian creature for me. His presence doesn't make me love people, but it makes me a softer person now. Dimash surrounded me with all his good qualities. I spent 6 years with him, ready to see a vulnerability at any moment, and he never disappointed me. (I wanted to explain it because you want to understand.)
  • @bernadetha1046
For me, technically Dimash is the best singer in the world. But what I love most about Dimash is his personality. So talented and already become a mega star but he is very humble, generous, family man and patriotic. Love Dimash forever ❤
  • @roimerlopez1275
Great reaction Stuart!!!...Thank you for finally reacting to the best singer in the world, Dimash!!...It is a magnificent opportunity for a professional like you to explain to us how Dimash's music and especially his voice, It makes us happier people who listen to it every day....His music transcends beyond being able to see a musical show and goes much further, because Dimash has changed our lives and the lives of millions of people around the world.. ..And that is what we want to share with you so that you can give us your professional opinion, but no longer as a Vocal Coach, but as a specialist in helping people live much better and even more so when one of us has had to deal with with some trauma or some other circumstance....Thank you and a big hug for you Stuart!!

I am a convert! I just discovered Dimash in February 2024 and have since listened to him every single day as a way to decompress. It is therapy to me. My recommendations are SOS from Slavic Bazaar, Ikanaide from 2021 Tokyo Jazz Festival, Omir - both the music video version and the one with him on piano and his brother on guitar. Put on subtitles as the lyrics are very deep.
  • Dimash is incomparable. Beloved not only for his incomparable vocals but also for his humility and love for others. Peace from Pennsylvania.
  • @bookworm8385
Food for thought: Dimash severely impacts some first-time listeners, with chills, goosebumps, tears, sweating, heart racing, and/or other symptoms of becoming Dimashified. Other listeners he leaves indifferent, or critical of his range or emotional delivery, while some claim that he does not "transmit" emotions at all. Well, dear reactor, what did you feel? ❤
  • @Chezarcat
Dimash to me is the epitome of diligence and artistry. Someone who trained daily from the age of 5 to achieve the level of control he has now...and vows to continue learning every day. He inspires me to do better, be a better version of myself every day. Even if it's small progress, keep at it, every day, like Dimash ❤❤ Plus, in the world of loud and self important pop stars, Dimash reminds us of the value of humility, family and personal values. His music often speaks of important matters in the world. If you want to understand Dimash better, listen to Omir with captions on. It's his gift to his fans on his own birthday. Thank you for listening and have a great day!
  • Dimash is the light in my life. I am 77 year old bored person who discovered this amazing human being. If it was just his voice that would be enough. It isn’t at all. He is a man of integrity, a humanitarian, and has met and influenced fans, his “dears “ as he calls then, all over the world. His concerts draw people from up to 80 countries who follow him all over the world. I am very happy you have discovered him. Please enjoy the journey you have just begun!
  • @marywebster2488
My sister and another friend are gravely ill. When they were introduced to Dimash they found themselves in almost constant tears, purging toxic emotions they had stuffed for years. They began to have hope. Seeing their progress makes me tear up with happiness.
  • Dimash's voice heals me. Since I started listening to him ( 6 months ago), I’ve listened to him every single day. And I have no idea why, but it's a kind of addiction. A good addiction. His voice is incredible, his skills, breath control, vocal range are wonderful, but the best thing about him is himself. The good person he is, full of good values, and his energy is so brilliant that we, his fans (he kindly calls us Dears) have become a family around the world. His music there is no boundaries….
  • @lindajones6251
To be honest, when I first heard Dimash (singing SOS at the Chinese I am Singer show), I thought he was a skilled, talented vocalist showing off his remakable range. But then I listened to more of his songs, and realized he was touching my soul as welll. When you hear Dimash's magical ability to transport you into another world, where somehow your emotions are understood and passionately expressed, you can feel validated as a person. Dimash does that for me. No matter the subject matter of his songs, they offer me comfort, hope, and inner peace...just by the sounds from his voice. Dimash is my musical therapy. Thanks for your reaction! I hope to hear more. Your new subscriber from California, USA. 💜
  • This song was written especially for him by the composer Igor Krutoy, who was accompanying him on the piano. What I like the best is the richness and accuracy of his singing voice, it's hypnotizing. Dimash as a person is a beacon of Kazakh culture and the pride of his country. He's a highly educated and trained man who will be arguing his PhD thesis this year! He's also an awesome composer himself. Check out on of his newest pieces, "When I've Got You" which he wrote and created a great video for. Thank you for your insight and I do hope you enjoy more Dimash.
