The fact that Apple made an iPad more powerful than most PCs but still can't design a simple calculator app for it yet is insanely mind boggling
  • @anhleng
This is such an honest review. People need to see how troublesome it is with the operating system when it comes to daily tasks, regardless of how powerful the new iPad is.

Apple 9 days later: Here's a calculator, but with better features than a calculator

6:03 If you go to settings > accessibility > pointer control and then turn off ā€˜pointer animationsā€™ it will make it more of an actual curser instead of a ā€œblobā€

I saw someone put it very succinctly: Pro: "the MOST POWERFUL tablet ever" Con: "the most powerful TABLET ever"

This is why I like Arun, he doesn't review a product, he reviews the experience. Sure it's fast, great camera, sweet features and this and that... But actually using it is a different experience. Wish more tech tubers would use this approach

finally a review that says a lot more than any other reviews and I've watched dozens of them and none of them reviewed it like you did - everyone else spoke about battery, oled screen, thickness, and pencil - but none of them spoke about using it and what works and what doesn't. Thank you! this made my subscribe to your channel after watchning your videos for more than 2 years

9:30 - Iā€™m watching this video on my iPad on a plane and this made me realize that my pencil fell off of my iPad into the seat crevice

Thanks for this video. I work in logitech driver section and company booked a new ipad for me just to fix the compatibility issues. Thanks mate .

I couldnā€™t agree more with everything youā€™ve said. Iā€™m just finishing a video talking all about why I hate FCPX for the iPad, and itā€™s exactly the same things youā€™re mentioning. Nothing is the same on the iPad, and it drives me crazy. Iā€™m excited for them to make this better.

Not gonna lie he had us in this first half with making us believe the machine was perfect.
  • @AllgoodthingsTv
This was a really good video because you thoroughly explained all of the idiosyncrasies and handicaps of the iPad OS in trying to accomplish daily tasks we take for granted on a Macbook. Glad I didn't drop 2K for one of these.
  • @KTJEagle
I made my iPad Pro my "leave the house" computer about 2 years ago, that lead to a Mac desktop that had more power for less money sitting where my old MacBook Pro used to sit. As always great work, keep it up!
  • Hey MR WHOSWTHEBOSS please bring back the outro of your videos. I certainly love it and I'm sure others will agree to it.

I've lived and seen this cycle many times. You switch over to the iPad Pro as main device and it feels amazing, and freeing. It's a revelation. Slowly you start running into issues, but you find workarounds or put up with them. There is software and games you can't run, but you push that out of your mind and rationalise that you don't need that software or don't want to play those games anymore. And finally you snap, and go back to your normal computer that just fucking works, and lets you run anything you want, and you're right back where you started a year or two ago. The iPad Pro is a fantastic luxury tablet and once you make peace with that and use it for what it is, you enjoy it so much more.

This was by far the most well rounded and least click baity videos I've seen as of late. You have described PERFECTLY, how this isn't a mac, it shouldn't be a mac, but can still behave more like a full fledged computer if only a few things were implemented. I would argue there could be a few more, but not egregiously so and it would end up being vastly better overall for portability than a macbook for most scenarios.
