The best time to have green plantain porridge is in the morning. This recipe brings back childhood memories. My mom made the best porridge, and I am sharing the recipe with you. I like a lot of cinnamon, and you will see that my porridge is very brown. Please feel free to adjust the cinnamon to your liking.

✨Green Plantain Porridge Recipe ✨
2 Green Plantain
4 cups water for boiling
1.5 cups Organic Coconut Milk(Use 1 cup for boiling and save the rest for later)
1/4 cup Rolled Oats for blender
2 cups water for blending
1/2-1 tbsp. Ceylon Cinnamon (Use 1 tsp. each for blending and boiling).
✨If you add more cinnamon the porridge color gets darker, adjust to your liking
2 tsp. nutmeg (Use 1 tsp each for blending & boiling)
1/3 cup Turbinado Brown Sugar or add more to your taste
1/8 tsp. Himalayan Salt
1 tbsp. Pure Vanilla Extract
