Worked construction over 20yrs, shit stirring is part of our culture and bloody hilarious when done right. Most tradies dont try to belittle the young blokes unless they've done something stupid to deserve it. Generally its the stoners, drinkers and larikins because, well, misery loves company and they know you're already better than they ever will be, so they try to bring you down. Try to avoid the assholes and stick it out for 4-5yrs and i guarantee you'll be running rings around the ones who put shit on you at the start and see them for the dead shits that they are.

I wish it was fun like that. In my experience they tell you to go get an actual tool from the van, you can’t find it, so you report back to the guy. You tell him it’s not there, then he throws a tantrum, goes and looks for himself. After realizing he left it at the shop with all the parts and ladders etc. Then he apologizes to you for his mental instability, but later tells the boss that it was your fault. Come end of day Friday the boss tells you there is a sudden and unexpected shortage of work. FML; journeymen are emo. lol I’m not quite there yet, but when I am I’m going to be just like them. It’s the only training I got on the job.

I know this is a skit, but this brings too much stress to me, this is why i hate working these jobs, always rough people with negative attitudes, there has to be more to life than working these shit jobs... Working a job like this would ruing my mental health, this shit actually pisses me off, i used to work for a house moving company and they didnt even tell me what to do..., like wtf is with these jobs, i hope ai takes over jobs and we all dont have to work.. this feels too real to me, and its depressing, i will refuse to work these jobs, you are just treated like shit, actually pisses me off
