Kevin Schlag served as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the France Bordeaux Mission, later moving to French Guiana and finishing in Martinique. Post-mission, Kevin attended BYU in Provo, where he met his wife and graduated with a Communications degree. In 1996, he joined BYU-Hawaii as the advisor for the school newspaper, Ke Alaka’i. He transitioned to the university's webmaster and now serves as the Operations Vice President. Kevin has lived in Hawaii with his growing family since 1996 and has been actively involved in community service, including roles on the Laie Community Association board and as stake president of the Laie North Stake.
