if you know anything about the process of getting this solution atleast 50% of horseshoe crabs die during this process. I'm not Peta but we should probably find a safer process for them.

The crabs have been around longer than the human race and will be here longer than humans too.

The crab harvesting isn't necessary anymore, as there is a synthetic replacement that is safe for the uses and safe for the crabs. The crabs are experiencing diminishing levels because not surprisingly, they are being over fished; tapped too often for the crabs to recover from previous blood tapping. 400 million years, imagine wiping them out for this, especially when there is a viable alternative.
