The geopolitical situation in the world is rapidly heating up. The conflict in Syria is still raging, it exploded almost in the very center of Europe when a full-scale war between Russia and Ukraine began, then erupted in Gaza between Palestinians and Israelis, the Houthis are mercilessly shelling merchant ships in the Red Sea, blocking the Suez Canal, China is carnivorous towards Taiwan. In such a situation, you need to be armed to the teeth. In such a situation, every piece of weaponry matters. The United States has begun a major modernization of the A-10 Thunderbolt attack aircraft.

I was a Tanker in Germany 82-84. We trained with these guys & loved "ALL" that they do. Please don't retire them !!!

The A10 is my all time favorite Military Plane. When I first saw it in action, while in combat, saving my ass more than once when our position got over ran with enemy combatants. The A10 saved me and my Squad several times. U.S Army Veteran here. 1984 to 1990.

I was in the Army for 7 years and we called the A-10s Warthogs! Those Warthogs had serious attitude! The only support Aircraft for the Army. Next best this is the AH-64 Apache Helicopter. Give them all to the Army with their funding allocations. Air Force doesn't want them fine! Army needs them! Upgrade the A-10 to the max!

The A10 is definitely one of the best. When the grunts on the ground refer to hearing it coming as the sound of freedom,it reminds me on how many Vietnam vets that referred to the Hu-1 (Huey),in the same context.

I know why the A-10 has lasted so long......... IT WORKS !!!!!!
  • The best day in my military career was when I stopped my car in between 2 ranges on Ft Drum. I checked with range control when the A-10's were practicing Live Fire. I had my parents with me and we standing on the side of the car as 2ea A-10's started a strafing run. I was laughing my ass of as my parents were in shock. Thank you Air Force!!

The A-10 is why I wanted to join the USAF. Read about the A-10 and other AF aircraft in high school and knew I wanted to join. Didn't fly,but I got to test and build the bombs and missiles they all used.Long live the A-10.
  • @billotto602

Absolutely love the A10 warthog since the day i built the scale model way back in 1981, not just for its rotary cannon but the aircraft look and its capabilities and durability as a whole 👌, what a beast !!!

I served in the Canadian Armed Forces in reserves, in a time period where we just didn't HAVE any wars. But I still hold the A10 as my favourite aeroplane of ant kind!! .. God Blass America!!!
  • @wildmanbill69
The A-10 should stay for the American military we are going to need Mother Hog when China comes knocking at our door.
  • Pound for pound, this is may be the most effective warplane ever. And to anyone on the receiving end, it must be the most terrifying thing imaginable. This is a real warplane.
  • I was in the Army,an I heared the roar of the A10 an seen the distribution it brings and I feel we need to keep it in service for our ground troops as long as there's a war
