Behold the mighty Quinotaur, a triple threat from the depths of Frankish mythology. The Chimera Project was one of my first big assignments during my Digital Creature Animation graduate program at Sheridan College. I needed to create a fantasy creature comprised of at least two different animals, so I decided to use the opportunity to recreate an already existing mythical hybrid in my own image. I'd already been researching various mythical creatures for a video game concept at the time, so this seemed like the perfect way to kill two birds with one stone and try my hand at building myself a sea monster. Special thanks to my course professors Brian Hladin, Kristian Howald, Douglas Smith, and Dennis Turner for helping me put together my chimera's unique anatomy and animation rig.
