im glad you gave credit to Tucker. Once he's out of the Bucks, i was like "dammit" One thing i noticed about great defenders(perimeter or interior) is that they still need to have better defensive teammates to BE EFFECTIVE. Like how Kahwi have Timmy, how Timmy have Bruce, how Kawhi have Siakam and Gasol, how Tony Allen have the whole grit and grind. In the playoffs, a great interior defender on a bad perimeter defense team will look like what happened to Gobert. If it's a great perimeter defender on a bad defensive team, they will look like Marion and Kirilenko. Like their individual defense looks ineffective because the whole team is soft.
