Saw Dyuma's face, and had to click. NEVER will l forget her face. She smile's like the sun, and her eyes are filled with love, and compassion.

The arrogance and condescension of these missionaries was breathtaking.

si los misioneros no hubieran abierto las puertas a la colonizacion seguro algunas tribus ....
  • Yeah she didn't hate you she was perfecting her family help help kill who ever that invaded her home they made a big mistake when they let y'all in cuz I know that their lives are changed a lot
  • These are true missionaries. What an inspiring piece of history. Praise the Lord Jesus Christ for his saving grace. A wonderful lesson in forgiveness. I wonder what this tribe is doing today? It would be interesting to find out how their lives turned out all these years later.
  • I feel that some people are missing the point here, but that doesn't matter! The fact that the people changed so much after hearing the word of God is what matters. Even though I am a Roman Catholic convert, I have always loved missionary stories and this is one of my favorites! I know Dayuma's story pretty well and I've always admired her ever since I first read her story a few years ago. She died several years ago and she was pretty old for an Auca woman. I've never heard their language before and it sounds kind of odd. However I do know Spanish.

So disgusting the missionaries...judging different ways of living, destroying them, feeling "better" and "chosen by god" to reign. Outrageous.

Auca was the name given by the neighbouring enemy tribe. They call themselves the Waodani. And for the judgemental hypocrites on hear condemning the missionaries, you would not know that if the missionaries had not gone. Watch "End of the Spear" and see the Waodani express thanks that the missionaries saved them from self-destruction. They had been almost wiped out by their warlike lifestyle. It is astounding to me that fools can condemn others for being condemning. Moronic.
  • so sad that they did not take their guns with them.....they deserved to live as much as the Aucas needed to be saved !! Do not sacrifice your life...its not required or necessary !!
  • Jesus died so that we would not have too...even if reaching the lost...We do not need to sacrifice our lives...He paid it all !!!
