Rewatch the party from Kevin's point of view: the squad's behaviour was proving his false belief that they openly don't like Holt because he's gay and black. From them all having the same cheapest bottle of wine to Jake accidentally saying he's pro-slavery, it was all just them comically out of their element, or just going too far out of their way, to impress Holt and Kevin.

Love this episode, one of my favorites. Love the painting Terry did of Holt in Kevin's office, good call back. Poor Terry trying to control the squad. The only thing I found unbelievable is Amy buying a crappy bottle of wine, she is such a suck up to the Captain she would have went out her way to get an amazing wine.

YAY! Kevin and Cheddar are here! Love Kevin, and how he was worried about Holt because of the past. That's really sad, but I'm so glad they did that because it's so realistic that he'd be treated unfairly because of his skin colour, just add his sexuality and it must've been awful. I can't imagine what it was like for either of them, Holt having to go through it, and Kevin having to see it happen... :( Glad Jake managed to assure him that they're not like that though. Our Dad's are great! <333
