The State of Diablo 4 Season 5 PTR

Raxx is the most thorough streamer TESTING (not playing, per se) the PTR. Everyone else I've watched is farming mythics, power leveling, getting frustrated stuff doesn't work and then going back to season 4, etc. Make this man a partner and/or give him a raise, Blizzard!

Find someone in life that cares as much about you as Raxx cares about Diablo.

Just make tempering like Last Epoch, You choose the affix but limit the rolls it's still a min/max loot hunt and people don't just completely just salvage a useful item.

Banes: You turn into a Druid. LMAO 😂

Blizzard should put a blue hoodie in the game as a mythic due to how much raxx has elevated the game with his testing. Its effects can be directly related to testing builds lol

I appreciate your ability to communicate feedback in a systematic and comprehensive fashion. This is exactly what we need, thank you.

Add a boon where a barbarian spawns at the sidelines to cheer on you and to apply Rallying Cry regularly. The choices don't have to be broken, just be fun.

As somebody who has previously worked in games (QA and Design), this type of feedback is very valuable. It is also presented in a way that is easy to follow and understand. Keep up the great work.

Its amazing that off the top of Rax's head he can think of 10 things that make the game instantly better....and the 500 people that work on the game can't think of anything.

Things I'd like to see in the game: 1. The ability to turn any dungeon into a nightmare dungeon in the field. Why? I see a whisper dungeon, and instead of absolutely demolishing it with little/no challenge, it would be nice if I could choose to make it Nightmare, and work on some glyphs, too. There could be a little shrine outside the dungeon, and it would cost the player sigil powder. The higher the Nightmare, the more sigil powder it would cost. Could even let the player choose what kind of boost they’d like (Extra shrines, glyph XP, etc.) for even MORE sigil powder. Right now, we have way too much powder, and it isn’t even worth the time breaking down sigils I won’t be using. 2. More mini-bosses like the butcher spread out through the world and dungeons. 3. Have the ability to upgrade yellows to legendary (like D3). Maybe this could cost Scattered Prisms, and have at least 1 Greater Affix, to make it worthwhile compared to just farming Helltides?

This just reminds me of the video from the ex Blizz game developer that talks about how Blizz has chased out or sacked all the passionate and talented people and how all that remains is juniors and commercial personnel without vision

The thing that makes a game like Hades 2 so amazing is the fact that no two runs are ever the same, take that same philosophy, apply it to this new game mode, success. Make every decision impactful, should I pick red or blue, sometimes it will pay off and you become ridiculously over powered, but most times you have to put some work in to get the job done. Either way, it's rewarding.

Blood necro is behind too. We don't have diversity of builds because with each new seasonal patch, old builds are nerfed to the ground.

give the minions personality, simple voice lines even that become iconic over time

i played a few infernal hordes and im sure you get more currency to spend in the higher tiers but it felt REALLY bad to me. Felt slow and very unrewarding.

I totally agree with the difficulty with rerolling to get a specific affix. Specially the ones with ranks to a skill or passive.

Chain Lightning sorc needs x100 dmg atm. Took me 5m to kill a pit 61 boss. I was doing 200-500k dmg per crit (not hit) with shako, esus, 2h staff with tempered, masterworked (not fully) and a lot of GA gear.

i know people have already said this, but I super appreciate that you actually Test the PTR and not just play the PTR. I remember watching you do the S4 PTR where you took the time to go through and talk about every single UI choice with the new tempering/masterworking system and people complaining to you about not going out and playing the game. The fact that you take the time to evaluate every single small detail is so instrumental to any programmer/game dev/etc, and I commend you greatly for it. If i ever make any sort of interactive system, I know I would want you to test it

Spawn the butcher to fight for you then the longer he lives he gets stronger and then turns on you in the end if you beat him he jumps in randomly for your remaining waves like Uber bosses do in pit boss fights imagine the badass dialogue they could add as the butcher fights with you
