The bearded monkey and his proud mom were seen eating a snack and roaming around their enclosure at Cologne Zoo on Thursday.
Officials say the 5-week-old monkey is developing well and is enjoying all the attention.
Bearded monkeys are considered one of the rarest primate species on earth.
Deforestation poses the greatest threat to the species.
