Alfred Bama is truly a hero. If only we had more people on earth like him this world would be a much better place for all.
  • I sit here in the comforts of my home in the United States - so many times after watching documentaries on the precious Gorillas - saddened by the plight BUT YOU - Mr. Bama - I have nothing but admiration. I am in awe of your life's work. I will try not to complain about my discomforts - on the worst of days it scarcely compares to what you have to endure. YOU are their hero - and for today - mine too. God speed and thank you for everything you are and everything you do.
  • I am overwhelmed by your dedication to these gorillas. You have a great purpose to your work. Please never lose it or give upl

This was filmed 10 years ago. Nyango unfortunately died in 2016. Alfred is a gift to the world, in taking care of these amazing animals, and his love for them comes across.

Bama's pure love & admiration is extremely appreciated! His knowledge & devoted sacrifice on preservation of the mountain Gorillas is admirable! This planet NEEDS more conservationists such as Bama & this planet might have a fighting chance of survival for ALLLLL existing species, both human & animals alike!
