I don't need to spend $200 to get rejected by women. I can do that from the comfort of my own home.
  • @LoneWolfOtaku
Inflation is making people focus on just surviving, rather than partying

People 30 and over have aged out of that scene, and those in their 20s seem to prefer phones over socializing in person.
  • @triniborn76
It's not fun anymore. People just stand around on their phones taking selfies.

The aggression, hostility and egos are off the charts in nightclubs

I'm 44, I had a blast raving, clubbing, bar hopping, and concerts in the early 2000s. Everything was so cheap. I was young and broke, you could have a great night out with $20 to $40. I feel for kids these days.

Nightclubs destroyed their own customer base. I grew up in Los Angeles and I was an average girl and the only people that those nightclubs would admit entry to were models, celebrities, or people connected to Hollywood. Now I'm somebody that they would want in their club and I am completely uninterested in anything to do with nightclub snobbery culture

Bottled service and smart phones killed the night club life

80’s baby here and so glad I got a chance to club in the late 90’s to early 2010’s back when the drinks were strong, the music was good, the vibes were chill and no cellphones occupying people’s time. 🍹
  • Another thing is is that Men and Women seemingly just hate each other for existing now and find every reason in the book to point fingers at eachother for the opposite sides problems. Long gone are the days where people could just chill together and everything wasn't made into a gender war

There’s no R.O.I for men, you spend all this money and get nothing in return💯
  • I had a sergeant major in the army say to me while we were smoking a cigarette together, "When you're young, it's about nightclubs and bars, when you're older it becomes bbq and backyards". Perfectly said. Age progression.

I just learned to sit still and chill at home. Now it’s like pulling teeth to get me to go out. I love staying home and keeping my money in my pocket.
  • Bottle service being MINIMUM $500 at a mid club in this economy is a straight rip off. Too many 3’s & 5’s hella rude thinking they’re 10’s watering down drinks while over charging isn’t fun anymore
  • @AlondraMad
It’s just to damn expensive!!! $20-$40 +entry $10-$20 +parking $12-20+ drinks ( multiple) I’d rather buy a bottle of tequila and drink it myself with some friends.
  • @calivette2020
The cell phone is #1 to 10 on why the club is dying down. The cellphone has everyone’s attention today and people are getting photographed losing privacy. The phone is the big change.
  • @PharSyde6ix
Ahhhh, the lost art of seeing a girl on the dance floor, walking up to her without saying a word and y’all just vibe out the whole night! 🤣 Good times!
