  • Hey enjoyed the video. I try to thrift buying of records. Its been tough lately. Prices gave gone up. But sometimes i will splurge like you. I really want that album in my collection too. Btw. I subbed your channel.

I knew I had a green label 1st press that sounded really good, I was shocked how good it sounded when I first heard it, just took another look, the vinyl is clean, not a single mark, and I paid $15 for it!!😎🤘
  • i am just a black sabbath fan. i have all their albums from the ozzy era on vinyl, except the first one. i really wanted to buy this one, kind of missed the order and now all these damn scalpers charge insane prices for them. screw them.

I think every collector has to tailor their collection to their personal circumstance. And ultimately if you can afford a super high end system and have the budget to buy high end pressings, it's wonderful. But if like me you have a fairly low budget system and really have to pick and choose what you can afford, I think that's perfectly OK too. I've never lost a second of enjoyment of my record collection because I couldn't afford the best pressing of something, or because I didn't have a $2500 turntable. Some day I may be in a position to afford audiophile quality equipment and records, and maybe I won't. But I'll enjoy what I have every step of the way.

Making.some good points sir. As long as the end user is happy with it, that's all that matters!

I'm not buying any more LP's from Rhino. I ordered 3 LP's and they didn't ship for 3 weeks, then the packaging is amateurish. They don't use Whiplash style packaging. The records are clumsily placed inside a box that is too wide with paper squished up against the records to take up space in the box. I bought this LP the month it was released in 1970. I still have it, a "greenie" and thankfully I took care of it because I played the hell out of that LP.

It's nice that Rhino releases such fine re-releases on vinyl record. But shame on them for only pressing 5000 copies ! Try to get a copy here in Europe for a decent price ...
  • I think Black Sabbath could have been the greatest catholic rock band of all time if ozzy wasn’t the singer
  • @EddieJazzFan
Haven't gotten mine yet as of today, June 11th. No shipping notification either. I'm doubtful I will get a copy, even though they took my money on May 17th..... Now the aggravation of trying to get my money back. Thank God for the PayPal Claim button. I'm done with Rhino's B.S.

I missed out . Threw the dice on Devo and BS. Bought 5 records instead then found a BS BS vg+ artisan green for 30$. Good luck/bad luck who knows? I should have known better and got the Rhino Devo as those late 70’s/early 80’s Warner pressings suckkkkkkkkk! Both Devos were pristine but the life and dynamics had been sucked out . I only had the 45 of whip it as a kid. Even Princes 1999 Warner release has some of that bad artifact of struggling against the musicality you know lays somewhere underneath. All 4 Rumors I own are the same….not quite as bad as later 70’s but they clearly had a problem and now I own a system, though modest by most standards that shows the warts. The Self Titled Fleetwood Mac right before on Reprise sounds great so when Warner took over something happened. Maybe they were still paying for their cocaine bill and had to cut costs? Got Raspberry Beret 12” Maxisingle today-looked like hell but sounded great so they must have fixed something by the mid 80’s. The 12” Kiss Maxi also sounded great compared to 1999. Someone knows the story?
  • Don't care how good it sounds... Evil Woman HAS to be on it otherwise it's flawed. Sorry.

For those that missed it, is it worth $100+ that people are selling it for?
