Human history has, to a remarkable extent, been shaped by natural disasters. Whether it’s volcanic eruptions or floods, plague or environmental devastation caused by human activity, human life has proven to be both remarkably precarious and, paradoxically, remarkably resilient.

Some natural disasters have come dangerously close to ending the world as humanity has known it but, somehow, people continue on, working to rebuild the damaged world left behind. Strangely enough, natural disasters can end up influencing history in some strange and unexpected ways.

The previous narrator had a delightful, warm, sarcastic tone that made horrific, historical stories enjoyable to listen to. Proof that casting the correct voice actor does matter.

Dudes I couldn’t even finish watching the other video cuz the ‘voice’ was missing, doesn’t feel right.. at least share where the ‘voice’ went to so we can follow 😅 and let us know when ‘the voice’ is back so we can watch these videos properly, plzz fan for years now

Dear Weird History, please don’t change narrators on us. The OG’s wit, gravitas and humor made these videos so much fun. At least bring the person who does weird food history try for this particular show. Her wit translate well and is more entertaining and energetic than this guy (no offense buddy)
