Bloom Struggles and What not to do!

Published 2024-02-22
Hey everyone! Welcome back, so glad you're here! Today's video is a bit of me poking fun at myself for being such a crybaby over my artistic failures. Follow along and laugh with me. This is my first "voice over style" video, I'm new and NOT good at it so please, bear with me.
In this video, I'm not even going to cover my color palette. This video isn't the story of a fabulously beautiful bloom, it's about what lead to the failed attempt and how to avoid the same mistake. What I did wrong will only serve to sharpen my skill (and yours!) by knowing how to plan and what to watch for. I am still using my same recipes, even after the Sheleeart e-course, as I was using those recipes, for the most part, prior to taking the course. The only recipe that I've changed is my cell activator which is now made with Australian Floetrol. I will switch back and forth between my old recipe and the Sheleeart recipe but for now, I'm learning the nuances of this product.
I have lamented the effect of the course on my confidence, consistencies and techniques but in no way is that a reflection of the course or it's content. It's a great course and I highly recommend you take it if you want to learn to bloom the easiest way possible. For me, having already been doing blooms and fluid art, this course set me backward a little but I will recoup and charge forward. The best time to take the course is when you're new to fluid art. Your brain won't be tainted with misconceptions and bad habits so you will learn the basics that you need to grow from. For me, learning usually comes very easily, it's rarely counterproductive but, for whatever reason, I am struggling a bit. I've decided to just be patient with myself and let the knowledge come as it will. We all learn differently but learning is essential to survival!

Nice sharing Dawn, I learn every single creation, the good and the bad, it’s all good bc you take it with you and build upon your experience! Remember a straw and/or you can blow in spots to stretch/reach if needed! Thanks for this video!!
