Hard to believe that I am seeing an inventor of a an amazing technology flesh and bones. Previously we have only heard of such people in history books. But here he is...one who is changing the world right now....
  • I love how Ilya answers questions. He is so thoughtful and clear about his vision. Im not in computer science but I could listen to him for hours.
  • @ZoOnTheYT
Dude looks tired, but he's also giving Oppenheimer vibes, like "what we are creating will either free or doom humanity, no pressure."

Ilya is likely the single most important architect of modern AI (next to the Attention is All You Need authors and a handful of others). To know where AI is going, listen to what he has to say.

When Ilya pauses before answering, for some reason I always have this mental image of ChatGPT's text generation slow down to a crawl and the rapidly picking back up. He is clearly the brains behind it all, one of the greatest inventors in human history!

Always great to hear from Ilya. I think though that there was an opportunity to ask differentiated questions — i think nearly all of this has been covered already by Ilya in his other interviews.

I wish Ilya would do a long form interview or blog. Everytime he speaks he has an abundance of great information to share that is extremely helpful. I also have a feeling he filters so much of his thoughts for public consumption. I would love a tech nerds view (scifi even) with technical details of today, near future, and far future.

I appreciate that Ilya doesn’t shy away from discussing essential topics like superintelligence despite the hyperbolic tone the subject can’t help but convey. The challenge of superintelligence is far more consequential and difficult than really all other challenges brought about by AI combined It’s unclear how humans will navigate a world of superintelligence. That future will be unrecognizable

Great video! We love how he deeply thought about each question with each response.
  • Ilya was the core engineer of innovation at open AI and always will be even without open AI .... 🔥🔥🔥

Ilya Sutskever is a co-founder and chief Scientist of OpenAI. He knows what's going on.
  • @gsm1
I hope his team reaches super intelligence first🙏

"I am totally sure that it will be possible to improve very significantly on the current architecture that we have but even if we didn't you would be able to go extremely far"
  • @martin777xyz
Getting AI to debate itself, and getting ai to have critical thinking and to be able to spot logical fallacies will be useful
