Prioritizing Peace with Morgan Harper Nichols

Published 2023-01-30
We expect harmony to come as a result of controlling our circumstances. The problem with this philosophy is we can never have every area of our life in flawless condition. Morgan Harper Nichols and I dig into what it looks like to choose peace.

It is not necessary for you to arrive at your picture-perfect life before you experience peace. Peace is available for you even in the midst of your chaos. It’s time to make peace our first pursuit and allow everything else to come from the overflow. Join us as we discuss the journey from passively wanting peace to actively pursuing peace.

Whats amazing is how the Holy Spirit will lead you to where you need to be, this us NY first time being introduced to both you amazing women. A few days ago after prayer I kept repeatedly hearing Pease is a practice, I have been practicing my peace but sometimes you may not know exactly what that means. I work overnight and just scrolling looking for something to watch on youtube I came across this and immediately when I heard peace is a practice I knew I was in the right place.. thank you for helping me understand what it means to practice your peace. 🙏

Oh boy I know that feeling of being one of the few. God is helping me to be comfortable in an uncomfortable space so that He is glorified. My feelings have to take a back seat.
  • This was a beautiful interview. After the story of the lady who went away and her husband asked her to do whatever she did again....I thought, how do I practice peace? I practice peace by observing the Sabbath as described in the Bible. From Friday sundown to Saturday sundown, I worship the Most High through reading my word , listening to sermons and music. I refrain from unnecessary conversations, I don't labor or look at email. I stay in my house and rest in God. It has made such a difference in my life. It gives me time to reflect, recooperate and just breath. Love this! Thank you ladies.
  • I squealed and jumped around my bedroom at close to the 4 min 58 second mark when I realized who this was!! I am so excited to hear this interview. Thank you!!!
