I wish this video was longer. I love seeing all this behind the scenes stuff.

So amazing to see how the 'Fantasmic' tech team gets prepared for the show. It's cool to see the tech team be out on the Rivers & America & Tom Sawyer's Island and see how they pop up the speakers, lighting system, bring out the pyrotechnic barges, etc.. I don't know it just fascinates me 😊😳

Thank you for this video. I always love seeing where they hide the show elements during the day. Amazing how much tech is involved! This made my day! Thank you!

2:20 "Our thrilling nighttime spectacitar."

That announcer is so amazing... He's been "THE VOICE" of DL since I was a kid back in the dinosaur years!
-
Wow these speakers snd etc. where hiding in plain sight.
-
Very cool! I love seeing all the behind the scenes stuff or at least as much as Disney lets us peek

Crazy that they replaced the spot ops with the new projectors. I'm still on the fence about the new additions. Fun facts: they had to open up an area in the side of the dragon lift to hide the magic carpet. Also, the stage manager's "call sign" is Fantasmic 1.

These cast members are great! They put in a lot of hard work to setup the show.
-
I like how the audio visual equipment is hidden within the decorations along the river. I would have never known.
-
Loving your channel, it's great to see it's not just me who takes an interest in the technology used in the parks!
-
Thank you so much for uploading this! I'd love to work at Disney in tech! This is so cool to see everything involved! 💡🔊

8:08 Hope that the projection on top might be restored when Fantasmic returns in Memorial day.

Awesome video, I have been waiting for someone to release videos of how they setup Fantasmic, this is great! It reminds me of the video Disney or some other source publish a video awhile ago of the tech team placing the dragon head, I would love to see you or another source show off the control room like a channel did for World of Color

Great Video

So what do they do to weatherproof the moving heads for Fantasmic? AFAIK For World of Color they are encased in a globe. What is Disney using for their newer fixed line arrays /point sourced ? Meyer? I know that old theater adjacent to Monsters inc are using old EAW's
-
Preset for this production is quite involved!
-
I see some new lights. Can you do an update to the Fantasmic article you already have?
-
I wonder what brand of moving head lights they use in the parks? I've never been able to find the name.

Didn’t each lighting tower have two tech crew members running follow spots back in the day? I have a distinct memory of seeing people in the towers, which is why they didn’t raise to show position until right before each performance began.
