President Biden's muted campaign launch this week is a sign for things to come. Whilst the President attempts to hide from the media, America's allies and enemies alike are left wondering who's really in charge. To discuss Joe Biden and Donald Trump's chances in the lead up to the 2024 American election, the historian and commentator Victor Davis Hanson sits down with Steven Edginton for this week's Off Script podcast.

How tragic that the people who need to listen to Mr. Hanson the most never will!!
  • I hope the supreme court has the balls to do the right thing for Trump.

The whole issue of nobody knowing who is in charge is itself a Constitutional crisis. We're in so much trouble that it's hard to even comprehend how our nation is still able to function like this. It's bizarre.

I adore VDH, he's as real as they come.
  • Four months later and everything he said the Left and Dems would do…they did.
  • Victor Davis Hanson is so brilliant. I never get tired of listening to him!

Listening to Mr. Hanson talk about politics is like listening to poetry.

What an intelligent conversation. It feels so nice to hear a civil discussion with brains and not emotions.

I've never heard Mr Hanson speak, but just listening to him in awe of succinct he is. Fascinating to listen to. I'm learning so much because someone can speak without trying to sell me something that I have to buy into. He's fair.

I grasped more history here in half an hour than I ever did with my teachers back in the day 😂

Listening to Victor talk politics is like a real cold drink on a real hot afternoon. Nourishing, sustaining. Why is it that what in some ways feels like miles away and will never arrive, is actually upon us in such a manner that will we be truly prepared?

Gosh this whole administration is bizarre 😮 and that's an understatement
  • We sent our technology, and manufacturing to China. As Vijay Boyapati reminded us, “The wealth of a nation isn’t printing money. It’s in your factories, farms, and services provided”. Americans better remember this.
