  • This is amazing. we met Sulai, my ex-husband and I, in early 98. We spent 2 weeks on PhiPhi and had the joy of getting to know Sulai. He was so nice, and he was really happy to learn that we are from Denmark, because it made him feel a little closer to Jeanette. He talked about her all the time, and he wanted to learn about Scandinavia, and said: Some day I will go to Sweden and be with Jeanette. The day we were leaving, he had promised to see us off, but he had to go out on his boat with some turists, so we never got to say goodbye. Many years have passed, but we never forgot Sulai and his story about Jeanette. And have often talked about what might have happened to him. Then last night I found the answer, on YouTube, completely by chance, and it made me so happy. Good luck and all the best wishes for you Sulai and your beautiful Jeanette. Best Regards Anne.❤️

Dear Jeanette, you stated in your first video, "I only have one life." I'm so happy you made the right decision to be with Sulai at this time in your life. I believe many of the 5.8 million viewers have similar stories of regret of young true love lost. In my story, I left a true love in 1979 and headed for South America. On my return, he was with someone else. I traveled some more, however, it didn't matter how far or where I was, he was always in my heart and thoughts. We marry different people. I have three children. He has three children. Approx. 25 yrs. later we accidentally are at the same restaurant at the same time. The hello was the same as though time had never passed. The goodbye was just as painful as it had been in 1979. Fast forward 20 more years. I have a dream about him that haunted me for days. I Google his name and his obituary pops up. My heart broke into pieces and I cried for days. I had always hoped we would meet again in our old age. Share stories about the 40 years we were apart. Perhaps even rekindle the lovely, honest, soulful love we once shared The day I visited his gravesite, I felt him all around me. I never loved anyone else the way I loved him. I never should have let him go. He'll be the first I'll search for on the other side when my time comes to leave this earth. Sending you & Sulai best wishes for a long and happy life together.

Omg,I cried when she said she called her mother and she forgot she was dead,I really felt the pain despite my mother being alive and healthy,I’m sure god and her mother are watching over her and they are wherever she is♥️♥️♥️

It’s not just the story. It’s the way she speaks and catches ur attention that makes it special . She a really good story teller. Love how open minded and fair she is to understand different cultures equal

I hope Mayaan could encourage Jeanette to start vlogging on her own YT channel and share a simple life with Sulai. That would be nice! Thanks 🥰

Jeanette has gone through so much as a human being throughout her life. She survives a life-threatening disease (throat cancer), lost her mother whom she misses a lot, and yet Jeanette is so determined to seek out her happiness with the man she loves wholeheartedly. Jeanette is pretty, she communicates very well and is a caring person with no nasty hidden agenda. My best wishes to Jeanette and Sulai, as both venture on to make good for their time lost to be together during their younger days.👏
  • very happy life 100% ... Many People think life in the city are very happy but in reality life in province is very satisfying..
  • Their love story would be an awesome movie like "The Notebook". I think their baby reincarnated as her daughter that's why her daughter was instrumental in making sure Sulai and her mom would be reunited 23 years later. I'd watch that movie for sure. Thanks for sure their story.

They both look still good like they were young.
  • I was so touched by the way Jeanette and Sulai came to terms with the abortion of their baby; they understood each other and there was no judgement, just unconditional love for each other .
  • There is no mountain which can cover/block true love ...... Hence proved If you love from your heart there is no boundaries ....... God bless you, God bless everyone who is reading this comment may you all find your true love ...... ❤️❤️❤️

I love this story and share a similar tale. In 1983, I was 21, and I met a beautiful young Maori man, Shane, who was in town with his rugby team, including his father and brothers, to play tournaments in Omaha. Despite the language barrier, we had a brief love affair. One happy memory is being at the Irish pub with all our friends, and dancing and singing with great merriment. He returned home to become a world class rugby player (I occasionally tried finding him, then followed him in the news over the years) and I sadly had an abortion. We never saw or spoke to each other again - there didn't seem to be any point with our cultural, language and geographical differences. Like Jeanette, I was in no position to raise a child alone. And like Jeanette, my mother died of lung cancer at age 68. This story is so inspiring - so glad they got their happy ending!
