I knew as soon as the Nuggets did nothing at the trade deadline that they were inevitably toast. Their competition got stronger, and losing Brown and Green made them weaker on the defensive end. They were missing a credible backup center (sorry Zeke and DeAndre) so Jokic was doomed to get gassed. Also, and I mean no offense to the guy because he occasionally played well, but relying on Justin Holiday to come off the bench for a Game 7 seems worrisome at best. I think some offseason roster shuffling is essential.

Happy the cs are taking on the Pacers next round. Should be a good one with Nesmith coming back to Boston in a new big role. Appreciate the coverage, guys!

This postseason has made me question team makeup. The playoffs have been so physical in comparison to the past few years (though playoffs are always more physical). Makes me think that some front offices built their team to be more skill or athletic based just to see the team fizzle in the playoffs because they're not physical enough. I feel like the Mavs-Thunder series was this way. I think the Wolves-Nuggets series had some of this too, though to a lesser degree. Should front offices expect to build teams with these physical playoffs in mind? Or is this incredibly physical style of play not going to continue? What does everyone else think?

Great job ๐Ÿ‘ guys, enjoy the insight, and enthusiasm for the game!
  • Knicks fan here: Joel Embiid is easily the biggest Knicks villain since Trae, and he's bigger than Trae. People were furious with his flagrant fouling particularly on Mitchell Robinson. And while TJ killed the Knicks, like Maxey, most Knicks fans had nothing but admiration and respect for the way he carried himself in the series even though he dominated New York.

2 wcf in 3 seasons. Not bad for Luka"can he play winning basketball" Doncic
  • So happy about the Wolves advancing. Hoping they bring home the title and the hating on KAT and Gobert subsides. The Inside the NBA crew can kick rocks as they look for new jobs. Been lowering bball IQs for long enough.

Realistically I think the Celtics remain the favourites, but I think a Pacers vs Timberwolves finals would be very very fun, so that's what I'm hoping for.
