ppl who are sturggling on making decisions must have already known different pov from each 'hat'. thats why they got stuck. so its still now answering the question, how to make the final decison?

This is the best information I’ve ever gotten about decision making. It also helps me understand that my spouse and I may be not looking at decision making with the same color hats and perhaps going thru each color together will be very helpful 🎉

The interviewer hardly lets Jim talk. It's a really cool concept though. I'm definitely going to use it when I'm having to make some tough decisions, so thank you!

this is so incredibly valuable! I wish I saw this before making a bad decision last month :')
  • @Heidella
I usually look at all the hats. Still trying to decide where we will live or just stay. I weigh in all my options intellectually and emotionally and physically and the answers will come. 😊

Somthing I've found really useful is to use AI to help. chatGTP (or whatever it's called LOL) can be assigned the persona of each of the hats in turn, you can then have a conversation to brainstorm. I've used it like that, and it's 'thought' of something I would have missed several times now. Obviously, don't join the AI is god cult LOL but it can be a really useful tool if used in moderation.

We can never know everything and we can never be sure. All information is incomplete, and all read- ings distorted by personal prejudice. And yet we have to take decisions all the time and hope the results favour us
  • loved this video! I have never heard of this method for making decisions.... brilliant! thank you
