미니 8집의 앨범명인 [Your Choice]는 나의 선택보다 너의 선택이 중요하다는 의미를 담고 있다. 이로써 ‘나’의 고민을 나누고 ‘너’의 선택을 존중한다는 다정한 세븐틴의 모습과 본인의 마음을 솔직하게 표현하는 고유의 순수함을 이어가며 세븐틴만이 보여줄 수 있는 성숙한 모습을 재정의하고 확장했다.
타이틀곡 ‘Ready to love’는 감각적인 신스 베이스와 타격감 있는 비트가 매력적인 R&B 기반의 Pop 장르의 곡으로 세븐틴 특유의 에너제틱함과 매니쉬한 멜로디에서부터 느껴지는 이들의 강인한 매력을 발견 할 수 있는 곡이다. 친구라 생각했던 ‘너’에게 사랑이라는 감정에 빠지게 되고 용기 있게 고백할 준비가 된 ‘나’의 이야기를 그려낸 가사는 한층 더 짙어진 남자의 모습으로 돌아온 세븐틴의 매력을 더하고 있다.
SEVENTEEN has announced the start of their 2021 project, Power of ‘Love,’ and their plan to fill the year with the sensation of honest but radiant love by singing about all the love we might encounter at different moments throughout our lives. The group is drawing all kinds of attention and raising expectations from listeners around the world. WONWOO and MINGYU kicked off SEVENTEEN’s Power of ‘Love’ with their digital single, “Bittersweet,” which explores the dilemma “between love and friendship.” Now, with the group’s eighth mini album, Your Choice, they continue the narrative of courageously confessing their romantic feelings to the person who brings those feelings out in them.
The title of their eighth mini album, Your Choice, is given from the perspective of someone who values another’s choice above their own. SEVENTEEN has redefined and broadened their mature image—one that only they’re capable of, which continues their warm way of sharing their concerns and respecting your choices and the characteristic sincerity that drives them to be honest about their feelings.
With the new lead single “Ready to Love,” an R&B-driven pop song with a sensational synth bass and a driving beat, SEVENTEEN puts their unbeatable magnetism on display which is attributed to their characteristic energy and the song’s masculine melody. The lyrics, sung from the perspective of someone who has built up the courage to confess that they’ve fallen in love with somebody they thought was a friend, add to the charm of SEVENTEEN, who have come to look more mature.

Let's be honest. Seventeen worked so hard for this but we didn't even get to 8M in 24 hours even tho there's so many of us BUT it doesn't mean that we failed. PLEASE don't get discouraged, keep stre aming this whenever you have time even after the 24h release so we can get them many vie ws. As I discover svt's discography little by little as a new fan, this song was easily put on my faves that I don't mind repeating it all day. It has that nostalgic feel of freedom to it I can't explain. Dokyeom and Seungkwan's harmonization on the bridge was INSANE. Also, the choreography on Jeonghan's part in the last chorus was just so satisfying to watch.
