I found that this duct vent was going thru this wall in a living room and since there was only one vent register, I decided to install an additional one. It was not as hard and time-consuming as I thought it would be, and I gained thumbs up from my wife :)
All I needed was some basic tools and half an hour of work. If you are certain that there is ductwork going through one of your walls and you could an extra vent register, why not invest in your well-being? I was very surprised that our new house only had one register in a fairly large living room, so I took the knife and started cutting the wall.
