I'm confident that every sasquatch sighting is just Donny running around naked in the woods. Great video as always
  • @Vendeevictores
I love this kind of content. Donny doesn’t build shelters, the forest sees him coming and builds one for him. Donny Dustisms!

Finn is such a handsome and well behaved pup. A great companion to a great owner
  • Loved how you utilized Birch bark for shingles on the outside of the shelter.
  • The other day, I was walking with my two dog buds, when all of a sudden they exited stage right, game on. Fifty gigantic elk walked quickly into a clearing, stopped and looked back. Here came the hounds, who ran right up to the herd. They all stood there for a minute or two looking at each other. Then, the elk casually walked up the mountain and the dudes trotted back. It's all about the chase. Happy trails, my friend.
  • Yes I’ve been waiting all week to sit down and enjoy a good Donny dust video! Love your content keep it up!

Hey Donny, glad to see our buddy, Finn, again. What smart, simple shelter. Using the bark to provide cover from the rain/layer of insulation and the stones to sturdy things up are things I will try. Helps to keep bugs out? Going to give it a try.

Building a solid shelter that'll keep you warm and protected from the elements is probably one of the most important things that you should build if you are in bush because exposure to the elements can and will kill you if you're exposed to them for too long,so that's why decent solid shelter is most important thing out there, Great video All the best
  • Sleeping in the mountains is not always comfortable but it is a new experience, good video Donny Dust's Paleo, much success, thank you!¡¡¡

Two questions for you Donny: Has Finn ever alerted you to anything spooky? Like animals or people sniffing around your camp at night or anything like that? And second, have you ever been or considered doing any camping up in northern Wisconsin? The area around the end of the peninsula can be pretty cool. Lots of little lakes, islands, cliffs, forests and such. I've only been up there a few times when I was a kid, but it seems like a cool place to do some survival camping stuff, and I don't really see or hear people talk about it much. [EDIT] I typed that before finishing the video. I guess I got the answer to that first question. 😄
  • @BryanKoenig379
Cool vid as always man looks like you and fin had a blast thanks man
  • @mrkultra1655
Thanks Donny. Every time I watch one of your videos that are outdoors, makes me think that it may be time to get a dog again, haven’t had one in a very long time. 🤙🏻
  • Thanks for all the great advice Donny! Society is getting crazy and I need to get out for a while at least.
  • @Ghost_Os
I had to laugh at the "and don't take it in the middle of the night, either" 😂 Couple great things about the quickie shelters, if you do need to build something longterm, they'll keep you out of the weather until the bigger work is done. And, they're quick to repair and replenish as needed. Looks like that caribou hide is basically sized for your torso?
