  • We did the human body last year but spread that section over the entire year and really enjoyed it! If you want videos to go along with it, we watched a YouTube channel called LearnBright and found videos at least half or more of the lessons. Used this with my 10 and 13 year old. We also love Notgrass and have used them the last two years!❤

Lots of good info and choices here. Thanks for sharing! ❤

Thank you for sharing. Those architecture and woodworking electives sound fun. I’m planning to get The Hiding Place graphic novel as well. We read the Wild Robot and my son loved it, we are currently reading the second book in the series now.
  • I love your wood shop and architecture class plan. What a great idea! I’m trying to find electives for my son, who is going into the 9th grade, and it is so hard since he doesn’t know what he wants to be when he becomes an adult. Trying to give him options and learn about new traits I think will open him up to different ideas. Thank you 😊

Thank you for sharing! We will have a 1st and 5th grader and appreciate hearing about the things you are considering regarding trasncripts and electives.

I am so excited to have found your channel! We have a similar teaching style and thoughts on 6th grade and are using a lot of the same resources. Looking forward to hearing more from you :)

Doing great! We tried tgtb 6 last year, was too much for us but it's well made for sure.

Stubby was a real dog during the war so I’m thinking the Dog Diaries is a non-fiction series about real dogs. There is also a movie about Stubby that might might be fun to watch after you read the book.😊

We love Masterbooks science. We are using God’s Design: Life and have 3 weeks left in plants (we also school year round). We are going to take a month or two off of science this summer and resume with human body in the fall.

Question about the Positive Action Bible Studies...Do you need to buy the teacher guide or just the student manual enough? I am looking for a Bible study that my child can do on his own. Thanks.
