Fs in the comments for the pre Isle of Armor Speedrunners. They're the true heroes in this story. 🥺
  • Not gonna lie the way you pronounced Arcanine physically hurt me
  • I think it's on Shield that there's a bit slower route but with much less RNG : the Whimsicott Route.
  • @N12015
A DLC who introduces lag? That honestly sounded so GameFreak that it hurts.
  • I hear a Vineboom in my head every time you say Arcanine Jokes aside, I eat up these videos like candy
  • @acebob116
I LOVED watching swsh speedruns once the dlc came out - the rng of what Pokémon you’d get in the raid dens and how people would adapt accordingly made each run feel different and more fun to watch - plus having a strong Pokémon made the way things were done so much different from other Pokémon speedruns, such as move choice being optimized for speed in many cases over power, as with thrash as mentioned in this video.
  • @bidoof367
the fact you can get a legendary like 30 minutes into the game with crown tundra is crazy
  • @jordan97SR
I'd like to say that Pulse did not mention that he was going to say Arca-nee-nay over my runs and with that knowledge I might have heavily considered not letting him use them 😠 Great vid though! Smashed it with explaining the woes of Any% w/ No DLC on 1.2+
  • @WhomisDS
Dang, it's been a hot minute since I last thought about this run, thanks for bringing back some good memories Pulse! The DLC runs were such a fun time, kinda wish I had explored the other ones a bit more before moving on
  • @magolor152
You don't have to get fly to go to the isle of armor or the crown tundra, you can just take the train back as soon as you see a glimpse of the wild area and initiate the slowpoke fight and travel to the dlc areas
  • @rooislangwtf
I pretty much did the speedrun with Suicune to get the other Regi with a 2nd playthrough on a different account. Didn't realize you can lose to Peony so I traded in mons from my main game and brute forced the fight while dealing with disobedience 💀💀💀
  • I'm playing through pokemon sapphire quickly to get items I missed in emerald and this moveset makes me feels super jealous look at all those useful attacks before level 50.
  • @doopness785
Wouldn’t there just be 2 categories any% without DLC and any% with DLC?
  • @retrokoh1507
The Chemical Plant music thrown in there midway through caught me off guard in the best way
  • @mb9822
Hope the strat to have the game roll over to the 21st of September is called Earth, Wind and Fire
  • @zenverak
YOOOO. Glad to see some Sab music!
  • @golden4523
I’ve heard people mispronounce Pokémon names all the time but you get first place for the most out there mispronunciation.
