➡️Dynamic testing of the bonkers FZero has just kicked off in its native New Zealand’s South Island, where CEO David Vickers strapped himself into the all-carbon 1,540-lb monster for the first time. Rodin says the FZero’s in-house 4.0-liter twin-turbo V10 thumps out 1,176 hp and that the wild aero kit can create up to 8,820 lbs of downforce. Only 27 will be built.

Obviously as a first test it was just crawling around, but this is the real deal. Rodin has already delivered on the FZED, and this has all the right parts and development to deliver on its promise. The biggest problem it faces is how brutal it will be when pushing hard.

sounds like a Renault v10 from the early 90s this track car is going to be amazing.

~4 tonnes of downforce, ~700 kg and 1,176 hp? Yes! ❤

Not sure I get this. Most of what holds an f1 car back are too do with safety, cost, and reliability. The drivers make up for the lack of tcs, abs, and AWD. Is this just gonna shed drag and hope for the best? What about tires and brakes?
