  •  Love him or hate him, Rangers fans can't deny that Josh Hamilton was the major cog in reviving this franchise. If it weren't for the bullpen collapse in 2011, he would have been cemented as one of the greatest Rangers to ever after that 11th inning 2-run HR. Too many memories from him.
  • I miss this Rangers team! I miss Nolan Ryan being in the front office! I miss the ballpark always being packed and loud! I miss the claw and antlers! This is bittersweet.
  • 10 years ago I was there, still sends chills, the noise level much higher that on TV...

There are no sweeter words in all of sports than "First In Franchise History!"  Doing it the first time EVER is always the greatest.
  • Well, ARod said he would take the Rangers to the World Series. He kind of did...being the final strike.
  • There have been only 3 sports moments that I will never forget where I was. Ricky Williams breaking Tony Dorsett record, Vince Young scoring the winning TD vs USC to win the national championship and when Arod sent the Rangers to their first World Series on a called strike 3.
  • Man I had the happiest sports cry this night my Rangers was on there way to the World Series! I can't believe it's been 8 years!
  • @satanxhhhx
The most beautiful strikeout a Ranger fan has ever seen.
  • Beautifully tragic. This city deserves a championship more than anybody else after all the heartbreak and frustration we’ve been through in the past decade. #DFDUB
  • Texas beat the New York Yankees.A great series victory.Texas has won a American League Championship and finally Are Champions .I been a Texas Rangers fan for years.Through winning and losing seasons never give up.Never give up.Go Texas Rangers.
  • @jjgillmen
And people thought TBS announcers were biased for the Yankees, but I loved their production value as it felt more like a local Rangers broadcast.
  • I love seeing Washington's reaction at the end! I miss him so much, and do really believe he was the best coach they've had so far. :'D
  • @Coganboy
Whoever you are, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR UPLOADING THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • This might have been the most lopsided 6-game series in MLB history - the Rangers massacred the Yankees 31-6 in the four games they won and none of them were ever really competitive. I remember Girardi in the press conference after being all "uhh yeah, they pretty much kicked our butts all series, it was very one-sided"
  • Honestly, I thought the Rangers had a chance. They proved it. They had a good team with offense.
