God blessed me with my husband, who is my best friend. We dated for three years before getting married, remained celibate, and shared our first kiss at our wedding. Neither one of us had ever been married before, and he was the 1st and only man that I dated after getting saved. God is good! Now, we're raising our daughter to wait on the Lord because he (her future husband) that finds a wife has found a good thing and has favor in the sight of the Lord. Be patient and prayerful. God cannot fail!

Some married people...if they are honest...clearly before and after watching this know they married the wrong person. I would rather stay single than marry the wrong person... If it is God Will, I will one day say I Do...but until...I am waiting on him!!!

I have never heard of this Pastor. lastnight I found this and listened to it. then I put my beats on and put it to replay over and over while I slept all night. This morning my co-worker said Bee I found something that I wanted you to see but I didnt send it to you lastnight because I thought it was to late. Then she forward me the link when I opened it. it was this same sermen that I had been listening to all night long. God is good.

I decided 3 days ago to finally get serious about handing over my desire for a spouse to God and I said I would put aside 21 days to seek God's word to know what I should be desiring in a spouse and to learn what being a godly wife entails and then here I am randomly coming across this video. Best 47 minutes I have ever spent. God bless you & your church!

Great message, I love it but, I follow this rule too: 1) If he dosen't put God first 2) If he doesn't have a prayer life and read his word 3) If he doesn't have a church home 4) If he is sexually active 5) if he isn't reliable 6) If he wants me to change my abstaining for God. He is definetly out. this list may seem long but most times this can be found out in 1 or 2 conversations. I don't hang around at all !!! Basically this pastor said it all !!!!

If a man truly loves a woman he won't let her suffer or overburden her. He will help her, by either by cooking and cleaning himself or by hiring someone to help her.

He is a wonderful pastor and he has a whole lot of insight about what he is preaching about. I do believe we singles need words like this at a time like this. God bless your ministry sir and continue to uphold you.

Amen! We need more preachers speaking on sex before marriage, Godly relationships and preparing for marriage.

Nobody needs to be test driven to get married. Being married involves a lot more. Life compatibility and character, well he showed me he doesn't have the character and doesn't care to change. I married somebody 32 years ago with hidden character flaws, he was not my soulmate. I met somebody with the same character flaws. There are a lot of ungodly minds not connected to their souls. When you get close to God you can discern.

"Sex before marriage will blind you to a person's true character ", I receive that, so grateful to God for giving me the strength and discipline to be celibate for the last few years. I pray he continues to give me the discipline as I have no desire to get married. These brothers expect you to work and pay half the bills, and do ALL the of cooking, cleaning, and laundry. We are humans not super women.

Been in a BAD MENTAL AND EMOTIONAL ABUSUVE RELATUONSHIP FOR YEARS! I am SO GLAD I didn't marry him! I've been single for over 2 years...Love getting to know me without the distraction of a man. If marriage is for me then so be it. If not ; Oh well! Life goes on.
