If you are interested in seeing my animations more frequently than once every few months, then I have some excellent news: I have just launched a patreon. You can see it here: www.patreon.com/boisvert
If the patreon goes well, not only will I be able to release more animations, but I can also start to consider larger projects (longer animations, video games/RPGs, interactive media, etc.)

Those 5 seconds of nothing at the end really make you expect a jumpscare. Scariest part is you don't get one.

I genuinely have no idea how the hell you got those seemingly live action shots of Complex walking around, it definitely doesn’t seem like a person doing that because his legs are crutches. Actually masterful work

I can just imagine the person who created this casually drinking coffee as its being made
  • For reasons I find it hard to describe, I find this video strangely comforting. The text reminds me of old RPGs I would find myself playing, and the music brings a strange sense of deep bliss. The words itself are difficult to understand, but I find strange solace in it's cradle. The simple ghost man even seems oddly comforting in the end, even as his body morphs into something more horrifying.

This new character, the Complex, is actually on the nose this time around. It's a psychological complex. Of what, I... don't know. I really don't know what this character is. That is, until I realized that this character is like a guard almost. Kind of like he's being controlled. This relates to my earlier theory of the idea that the creator is truly not in control of himself. The Complex is a manifestation of that fact. I believe that's why he has the least humanoid features, like the fact his legs are crutches. This video also continues the theme of isolation, both in dynamic rhetoric and in static rhetoric. The Complex wanders alone, and it states that "we won't talk to them anymore." Them, obviously being people the creator has left behind. Friends, family, etc. "The quilled god rages and destroys the rope which held him aloft." Now, in my eyes, this seems to be referring to the masked apparition, the Decayed. He has strong animosity for himself, so he destroys himself. I always thought the Quilled God was the Willed apparition, but from what this implies, the Quilled God, is the Decayed.

0:53 is my favourite scene holy shit its just surprising, not really a jumpscare, but a really shocking scene. would be good in a horror game fr fr

i know im late to this bt i think the "dont breathe" "they are far away so its quiet" and the thing around the characters neck are all references to suicide. as a suicide survivor i think your channel is incredible, keep it up!
  • La mezcla de 2d con 3d y el toque realista es sin dudas un deleite visual en tu canal

  • @allurandy
I'm growing to like horror as a form of art of its own instead of just something made for scares. this is beautiful

Whenever it cuts to what appears to be security camera footage, in the top left you can see a symbol and the word CMPLX01, COMPLX obv stands for Complex and the 01 implies the existance of multiple complexes. I don't know what it means whenever it refers to "they", possibly the two other red squares seen in consequences, or it could be refrencing the "them" in burning.mp4. Another odd thing is the clock that appears in the top right corner whenever it shows the security camera footage, it goes from 2:49 to 1:47, 4:04, a timelaspe of 1:53 to 2:48 and then to random and impossible times. Other than that there's not really much to say for this video.

Listen, I just found this channel and I'm having a blast I just wish I was smart enough to piece together the narrative
  • "The quilled god rages and destroys the rope which held him aloft" Now, I do not know who the Quilled God is, but I don't imagine it is the white figure with the cloak, the Teru Teru Bozu looking dude in this vid. Hmm... The only "rage" I can imagine is the floating figure with the spiky head from "I_met_a_beautiful_angel". And this Quiet dude... he seems like some sort of observer in this lore. Unless he has an ulterior motive? I'm not sure... But it's fun to theorise. Edit: "They are all far away" and "We won't talk to them anymore". That makes me imagine there was some kind of falling-out or conflict between these two parties. Whoever the other "them" is. The Quilled God? There was some kind of schism between them, now this Quiet guy just... revels in how silent it is. I guess.
