  • My fatigue began months before I was diagnosed. I have worked at it for 4 years! I did zero chemo and 27 radiation burns. I am an RN and came up with my own care plan. No one at oncology took my fatigue seriously. Perhaps because they have zero understanding of why this continues. I have exercised for 4 years. Weights. Walking. Stretches. Body massages weekly. I am on one Med. Anastrozole 1 mg. Lots of water. I spend 1 1/2 hours a day in prayer and Bible study. Lots of friends.

I am so depressed about the fatigue and musculoskeletal pain I am experiencing. I have SLL and I am on zanubrutinib. After strenuous activity, I am so wiped out and it takes me days to recover... for example, camping, used to be easy peasy, now I am totally exhausted afterwards. I am trying to not quit but I feel like I am ready to give up.

The problem with this sort of approach is you don’t know how much energy you’ve got each day. Sometimes you are bedridden for weeks.
