Surviving 24 Hours in Dracula's Castle

For those who are curious, the actual name of the fortress is "Bran Castle". It is a national monument in Transylvania. Ironically despite becoming famous as Dracula's castle, there is no evidence that Vlad ever stepped foot in the fortress. Most historians believe that he was instead imprisoned in Budapest. It became famous as Dracula's castle due to the rumor that Vlad had been imprisoned there and the fact that it was a prominent fortress in Transylvania. Edit: Man the bots are running rampant in the comments lately.

The floor boards squeaking was on purpose. It was made as a defense mechanism so that whoever was in the castle could tell if someone was sneaking up on them.

The thing that always gets me from going to places like those is just wondering how many battles must of been fought there, how many people got killed in that exact same place or just sat in a stool in the middle of the night with a snack in his hand absent-mindedly looking up into the sky or the same place im looking at. Just thousands of millions of souls who have walked and even lived at the castle. Makes one feel insignificant in a good way

My mother in law went to Transylvania last year and stayed in draculas castle. She told me they weren’t “supposed” to go outside after a certain time. Guess a lot of people there don’t for fear of vampires lol

Dracula's castle can't be a place of refuge for folks who had to evacuate due to the Slavic Battle. If they stay there, they'll likely be annoyed by "strigoi", and they may be afraid. How terrifying!

Yooo i can't believe you guys went to Romania, i actually am from Romania and i am a big fan! Oh and btw. Vlad Țepeș also know as Vlad Dracul (dracul=the devil) didn't die in the castle, he was killed in battle and all these "Dracula stories" were just invented to make movies and books more interesting. He wasn't actually a vampire. But, it's appropriate for Halloween 👻🦇🎃

I personally have a Cirkul bottle. It has flavor "pods" thingies that flavors the water while you drink it. The pods which screws into the cover has a thing that lets you adjust how strong the flavor you get.
