Hello Jim. I've been doing a fair bit of car camping this summer and have an upcoming two week driving / camping road trip to Ontario. I recently bought this pump using the discount code. It arrived very quickly and I immediately started testing it out. Wow I was impressed at how quick it would inflate my mattress. It was nice to have that light option too. When I travel in my car I have a solar generator (power box) that can be recharged with a solar panel (I don't have one) or plug into a 110 house outlet or even a 12 volt socket in an automobile. I charge my power box in the car while driving. I use this to charge my phone, laptop, camera batteries and now my pump. This little pump is a fantastic addition to my camping / travel gear Thanks for this awesome video.....Take care, Mike.

Nice time out at the hut with a great new pump that will make our lives a little easier
  • They truly come in handy and save your air mattress from your breath which makes the inside moist and will damage the mattress. Good stuff Jim. I like the new shelter.
  • The shelter is looking great. I have an older version of Flextail tiny pump and love it. On a recent motorcycle trip I got it out to pump up my largish air mattress for the night and it was dead. I Had heard a strange sound earlier in the day when I had pulled off the highway into a rest stop. I had assumed it was coming from someones elses vehicle since there was one other vehicle there. When i discovered my dead "Tiny Pump" I realized that was the odd sound I had heard earlier in the day. The bumps of the road had double pressed the on switch and drained the power. I have since remedied that by cutting the top off of a plastic bottle that just fit perfect and I store the Tiny Pump in the lower portion of the bottle, a perfect friction fit.

Love mine. The black end is also magnetic. The wire hanger can be unhooked on one side to pass the wire thru tent loops and clip the wire back in place again to hang it from a loop if your tent has some on the ceiling. I tried blowing up a regular queen size mattress (about 7-8 inches thick) and it did so in about 7 mins. Required two or three puffs of air from me just to firm it up a bit so I was impressed it had enough psi to handle the larger mattress.
