If you noticed after the woman ran away, Jason did what seemed to be a nod of satisfaction, as if he felt like he did something good.

The way she instantly recovers from whatever she was injected with and takes off running is remarkable.

He's such a role model. "Yeah, kill your bullies, help people in need, kill rapists, and protect the children."

If you cut off all the scenes from all the other movies and keep just this one, Jason becomes a hero.

Funny how when you think about it, Jason is like the only iconic slasher villain that isn't exactly "evil" by choice. He just abides by the spiteful voices in his head, being his mother, telling him young adults and teenagers deserve to die.

Between Michael, Freddy and Jason, Jason definitly has the moral high groung since he has never killed kids or dogs.

Reminder to everyone that Jason isn’t ALL evil. He kills for revenge or similar. In this case, this… Sort of counts as something he would do, since he still has the intelligence and spirit of a Human and can understand that what that man was about to do and deserved exactly what was coming to him.
