Jinbei is this show's manliest man. He's just too cool. A different kind of cool like Zoro, Sanji etc. He is cool without being conceited. He is a very noble man who is always respectful. The only one who could challenge him in that aspect is Katakuri.

I love that it’s not just an “Emperor” that he’s not afraid of, it’s a “MERE Emperor”! That’s how little he fears BIG MOM OF ALL CHARACTERS!

This shows how much trust and faith Jimbei has in Luffy but also I love how he completely disrespected Big Mom while also respectfully returning the sake cup.

Jinbei still being honorable and respectful until the end speaks volumes about the guy.

I adore Jinbei's wording here. I'll give you as much lifespan as you can take not I'll give you as much lifespan as you want but as much lifespan as you can take and that alone shows that Jinbei knows she won't be able to take any lifespan from him because he does not fear her.

Luffy's laugh is soo chill even though he stands next to big mom with her anger 🤣🤣

I have so much respect for Jinbei. He is a man among men. He's honest, respectful, loyal, and knows where he's needed the most. He fills a more mature role that Zoro can't quite fill for Luffy. Zoro has developed into a strong right hand that helps Luffy keep the crew in line where the other crew members don't quite have the iron will to pull through on tough decisions in some situations (like Usopp at Water 7). Jinbei is much older and more experienced and he's able to provide Luffy the wisdom he needs and have his back when Luffy needs someone to help him up in a hard time (like after Ace died). Luffy, despite very generally spastic, idiotic and immature, does get serious and listens when things come down to it which is what will help him become King of the Pirates with Zoro and Jinbei at his side.

So glad he is officially part of the crew now and traveling with the straw hats. I really loved his character since impel down, wish he joined then lol

Even admirals shake at the thought of fighting a yonko like Shanks while Jinbe managed to show no fear in front of Big Mom’s face and her entire crew. Insane
