Alberta manhunt: Shooting suspects at large after county employee killed, utility worker injured

A utility provider in the province confirms the surviving victim is one of its employees.
Alberta RCMP released a photo of Dodge Ram truck stolen in Calgary that's believed to have been used in the shooting.

The one who was killed was the husband of my friends coworker, they are absolutely devastated.

So if one of the victims is alive, why hasn’t a description or details been given? Were they shot from a distance and didn’t see who was shooting? Seems like information that could be important to the public’s safety might be being withheld.
