I like how the “poor” main character has a family who owns a hardware store and a catering company. There’s no chance in hell that’s “poor”
-
i like how "owns a hardware store" is somehow a bad thing. like he isnt just an employee there, he owns the place and if her house is anything to go by, its probably a successful business.
-
“I Ghosted Kevin Jonas” is a musical masterpiece. It truly shows what its like to ghost Kevin Jonas.
-
Honestly Mitchie's mum is the only character I reasonably understand being upset about the HotTunes lie, coz that's her daughter saying she doesn't think her mum is enough
-
Genuinely can't believe you left out the part of everyone singing to Shane to find the girl or whatever. Insane fucking scene
-
“Her clothes are soaked, her bones are squishy, she’s humiliated.” I love the recurrence of the squishy bones joke.
-
I like how kevin’s like ‘i’m not a cookie-cutter popstar anymore’ and then sings the most ed sheeran sounding song ever.
-
IRL the Jonas Brothers HATED how they're portrayed in Disney movies/shows, especially Kevin, they would constantly sneak in shitty performances, dance stupid, try to basically sabatoge their on camera presence so Disney would use them less when they were under contract, Disney was also super abusive to their female leads, strict weight control, they'd be pushed to do movies they didn't want to, all for movies and shows that we only remember because we were young and impressionable so now it translates to nostalgia

As the wife of a drummer...... everything IS a drum. Even the cat gets drummed on (she enjoys it)
-
“Ghosted Kevin Jonas”, yet another certified slapper by Danny Gonzalez.
-
In Mitchies defense, yes she is a pathological liar, but let’s also remember that her mom owns a catering company but doesn’t know how to make chili. So I think we know where Mitchie learned to lie 😂
-
I was friends with a drummer once… he was too dangerous… my newborn brothers head was a drum in his eyes… my brothers bones are now squishy. 😔
-
Everybody talking about Camp Rock but nobody talking about how Danny ROCKS that grey stripe in his hair
-
"even Mitchie's mom is upset" she should be the most upset. Her daughter literally made up a fake mom because she was embarrassed about her real one... that's lowkey kinda messed up
-
Fun (sad) fact: Demi admitted latter in an interview to being "coked out their mind" during the entire filming of Camp Rock, and honestly, looking back how did we not know that. 😭
-
Being the head cooks daughter is actually a really good way to make friends cause you can sneak food out of the kitchen for your friends
-
Mitchie's story could have easily been believed by everyone if she just said that like her uncle was a producer or something so they couldn't trace her family tree
-
Is Mitchie’s mum seriously expecting to find a cookbook with values for 300 people instead of just multiplying a recipe
-
Something that has always annoyed me about Disney musical teen romantic comedies is that the lead girl, who is always shy, signs up for an activity that involves singing in front of a lot of people and when she has to do it she's like "Oh no! In front of other people!? It's not like I myself voluntarily joined this club/activity/etc."
-
"She's really good" constantly runs through my mind whenever someone does something with minimum effort
