Kid is an engineer. Law is a doctor. The two of these guys aren’t by any means stupid. Maybe a bit brash at times but certainly not stupid. Yet luffy seems to make everyone he’s around 60% dumber. And I just love that.

I love how Law used to be the most calm and collected of the Worst Gen. Then as he started spending more time with the SH crew, his silly side started showing itself more and more.

Oda did such a great job with luffy’s character, they’re up against 2 emperors and he’s still the same person from episode 1; yet he has grown so much, a lot of main characters suffer from being too badass in these moments but luffy is still silly as he was when he was back in east blue.

Love how in the last panel they all desperately looking over to see if the other guys have chickened yet to see if they could dodge.

I always love this dynamic. Luffy and Kid have such a rivalry because of who they are, and because Law is who he is, he has to put on the front of acting likes he's the most serious, above-it-all one of the three, BUT IN REALITY HE'S JUST AS MUCH OF A CHILD AS THE OTHER TWO.

Luffy is so special, his childlike personality draws everyone. As Mihawk stated, "His ability to bring people together is what makes him dangerous!" (Something along those lines). Even Law, someone who rarely shows emotion went along with it 😂
