Exploring the La La Land Pier in Hermosa Beach California

Published 2024-04-10
A tour through the heart of Hermosa Beach with Jefferson Graham from @PhotowalksTV The Hermosa Beach Pier is a 1,140-foot long pier that juts out into the Pacific Ocean. It was first built in 1904 entirely out of wood and extended 500 feet out into the ocean. The current concrete pier was built in 1965 and renovated in the early 2000s. The pier is a popular spot for strolling, fishing, and enjoying the sunset. There are also a number of shops and restaurants located nearby at Hermosa Beach Pier Plaza. The pier is open daily from 6 am to 10 pm.

From the first still, you lifted my spirits after a somewhat lousy day I had today. Thank you Chris.

“A friend of mine once told me: Chris, if you ever get a chance to sing, DON’T.” 😂😂😂 Cool friend, btw. 🎉

This is my favorite beach in the area. It's usually relatively calm and the beach is not too crowded. Good Stuff and Scotty's are great places to eat, especially if you can get outdoor seating!

Love La La Land! Very cool to see some of the movie locations.
  • Muy completo, su video me hizo recordar mi paseo por el lugar hace un tiempo. Gracias
  • Chris singing…now I’ve seen it all!! Dancing in next video ?

Hi Chris. Great job on the intro.I thought your singing wasn't that bad at all. Nice day for a walking tour with you and Jefferson Graham. He shared some great history and info.Must be a sight to see all those Iron Man participants. feeding the fishes in that big hole in the sand. LOL. That burger looks awesome and tasty. Hopefully we'll get to see both of you on another video. Thanks for sharing and take care.

Hey Chris. We visited here not long after the movie was released. Wifey sun baked on the beach and I watched some live music at the Lighthouse with a cold beer 🍺. It’s one of my favourite corners of LA 😊

Thanks Chris and Jeff for showing us Hermosa Beach. Looks really nice, and thirteen miles of the strand, wow . Jeff was joking about the none free air at gas stations in the US, wasn't he, Chris?
