Incidentally 10cc of Scott Lade's blood is the most powerful antidepressant on earth.

Oh man!! Love Scott's channel. So glad to see you guys do an episode together. It's like a supergroup hitting it off. Great list of epics, too. A lot of them are obvious choices but the whole talking about it is just awesome. I do have to point out that I am an Atom Heart Mother sucker as well. It's probably my favorite prog epic by PF along with Echoes. The composition itself is simply off the charts. Modern classic orchestral bliss. I'm also a Can superfan so I would highly recommend several of their epics here. They are just one of those one-of-a-kind genre-of-its-own kind of bands. Yoo Doo Right, Bel Air, Halleluwah, the 3-track medley of side 1 is one of the best 18 minutes in rock history. A big thank you for that little comment about Israel there, Scott. Really appreciate it. People around the world have no idea what's going on and what the country is going through. The world has gone completely insane. So again, a big thank you for a wonderfull episode and it's always great to give Van der Graff Generator, Reniassance some love. They really deserve it.
  • Highly enjoyable episode to watch. Most of the epics picked would be on any personal list made and a reminder to revisit some tunes as well. Thanks, Pete and Scot, for getting together and doing this episode. An unexpected episode showing once again why SoT episodes are such great viewing.

A Plague of Lighthouse Keepers is really a fantastic epic. Especially that moment of the ship collision created by David Jackson and Guy Evans. You sit there with your headphones on and close your eyes and you can imagine those two ships in the fog that soon will collide and sink. One of the best moments in rock history!
