Age of Change: Harvesting nature’s medicinal gifts in Kosovo

Published 2022-11-20
Plants have a long history of medicinal use. Over 1300 plants are used for medicinal purposes in Europe, of which 90% are harvested in the wild. Blinishta and her family collect wildflowers from the mountains of Kosovo. By responsibly gathering local plants, they harvest the benefits of nature for their community and surroundings.
