I am very fortunate to receive University of Madras gold medal through the hands of Kalam ji in 2007🙏 Previous to that I met him thrice in the years 2003, 2004 and 2006 as student representative of my Universities in Mysore and Chennai! I got tears seeing great Kalam ji standing there humbly like a nobody. He probably was the greatest person in that room!
