In this mid-season special, we take to the waters in a canoe at Mammoth Cave National Park. With the autumn leaves just changing colors, and the calm waves of the water, this was a fantastic and relaxing outing.

  • After finding your channel this summer - I am now going deeper into the Archives archives. I'm enjoying getting to travel vicariously while pretty much homebound, so I appreciate the great places and trips. I really appreciate your style and spirit. Guileless, natural, thoughtful, erudite and light hearted. Your gear selections are of no real interest - just a means to get you out there. I really enjoy how you notice plants and wildlife and share your knowledge. And your mad skills with videography, audio and music are really impressive and a joy to experience. For me, you highlight the aspects of outdoor trips that I am after - the simple tasks, the consciousness of being alive, the spontaneous discoveries, large and small amazements in nature, dopey mistakes and satisfaction of adapting and just BEING. I want to thank you so very much, and wish the best for you and hope you are able to continue your chosen lifestyle.

20:45 - I love the Chinese Dancing Dragon music while you scramble to get the bald eagle.
  • Seriously, you guys should be on television. This is broadcast quality stuff. I like how your videos aren't just a 'vlogger'-esque mish-mash of footage, but a well planned and produced piece of entertainment.
  • @Gavin-gl7zp
The eagle scene with the music was so well done. Made me laugh!
  • @roechel1

I had the best experience of my life kayaking in the green river. We kayak from 3-9pm. When it was getting dark, it was just me and my friends on the river and then it started to rain, it was hot so the rain felt really good, the sound of the rain, the water droplets pattern on the river, the mist. It was all magical, like I am in a different world.
  • Man !!!!! Top Knotch guys ! Top Knotch ! Great Job documenting your trip.! Thank You.

Not sure if you guys would ever see this but I have been binge watching your episodes and I LOVE your episodes, they're great. Your personalities all shine, they're educational, VERY entertaining, and I love that it's all focused on the hikes and the mentality it gives, very inspirational! I hope one day to see you guys on a national tv or even public tv, you guys would EASILY have a dedicated audience. Please keep them up! I'll thumbs up every one I see!
