I hated how throughout this entire movie, Eddie Murphy didn't even play his hilarious, joyful self. He was just stone faced the whole movie
-
ironic how the walls are red 😂

If you let him make you take your hoodie off, you gon’ be ironin’ his drawls and clippin’ his toenails. 🤣
-
I love that he says, "they have a commissary here?" Cause that's what my ass got focused on too.

I am confused about this scene. Akbar is advising him not to take off the hoodie by telling him some non-sequitur about being a prison which is a different environment from where they are despite being in an area under the control of the Crips. So, how can keeping the hoodie on be helpful compared to taking it off and why did Akbar tell some dissimilar scenario?

This was my least favorite scene of the movie. I'm tired of the narrative that it's acceptable and encouraged that black people can judge those based on the color of their skin & not the content of their heart.

Did Sebastian Maniscalco write this film?
