Initially used as a term to empower awareness of systemic inequalities in society, wokeism is now a deeply divisive term. The media's perpetuation of woke culture has made this term a buzzword. For some, being woke is part of the antidote of acknowledging the instruments of oppression. For others, it is a dangerously absolutist ideology, a sort of reverse McCarthyism, corroding liberal society and encouraging self-imposed victimhood. Is the 'war on woke' a legitimate phenomenon, or a reactionary distraction from the real problems being 'woke' addresses?

As a conservative from America, I can assure you that the point of view Konstantin is presenting here, is precisely how we also see wokeness. Which is exactly why common sense, and logic will always dismantle woke ideology. Well done sir!
  • "About 15 months ago my wife got pregnant. Not me, cause we're old school" KK brilliance

"Go to university, graduate and become a woke idiot" is the best line of many in this superb speech. 🤣

Not a single parent who would not smash that button so hard that their hands bled. Truer words have never been spoken.

"The only way to deal with the problem of racism is to treat people on the content of their character and nothing else." 👍 A great quote.

Konstantin showing once again why he and Frances have been rapidly acquiring such a huge audience. Well-reasoned, charismatic, and incredibly funny. Dude's an absolute beast at public speaking.

Love Konstantin. He has humor but can still make a point and back it up with logic. 👏
  • "When I was a boy of fourteen, my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around. But when I got to be twenty-one, I was astonished at how much he had learned in seven years."--Mark Twain. Bravo Konstantin, I think you're terrific.

I'm from South Korea, and in South Korea, too. This country was one of the poorest countries when my parents were born in late to early 60s. Now, it is economically doing pretty well in the world. The development, economic prosperity, was achieved by building and running A LOT OF factories where people to work and earn their living. This is the exact same path that China has taken since the 80s, Southern East countries like Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia have taken since 90s or 00s, and India is taking now. "You are not going to get them to stay poor", DECLARED by Konstantin is the exact message that the developing "global south" wants to convey, and is conveying, to the "global north". The global south understands that environmental protection is important, but not at the expense of hindering or sacrificing economic development. So whatever Greta Thunberg or World Economic Forum blathers, Konstantin is right. Climate change does not depend on the global north. It is the global south that will determine the course of climate change, and the global south will prioritize economic development.

I would be pleased, if anybody in Germany, my home country, would be able to stand up, and hold such an impressing speech.
