This whole glitch is caused by a mod. The mod is Rayrod's Overhaul v10 beta. You will probably see a lot more stuff in this video related to the mod. Highlight at about 4:15. Sorry i couldnt edit it.

NMS should add celestial events like dying stars and inter-planetary catastrophes. That would be cool is to see the gravity rip the planets apart and bombard with debris.

This was actually kind of unnerving lol, like the sight of another planet coming down over the horizon is kind of apocalyptic.
